Our speaker will be Mr. Mike Frisbie, P.E., Senior Vice President at Raba Kistner. He will give a presentation titled, "If You Lead, Will They Follow?"

Mike Frisbie brings over 30 years of public works leadership, project implementation, and multi-modal transportation experience.  He has served three cities in three states working collaboratively with all agencies and the public to advance infrastructure solutions in San Antonio, Phoenix, and the Salt Lake City region.  Mike has also worked for private engineering companies in Phoenix and now in San Antonio with Raba Kistner.  Mike served on the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Board for nine years.  He is known for his leadership and ability to unify and gain consensus on controversial projects and programs. During his 11 years serving as City Engineer for the City of San Antonio, Mike led up to 880 employees, fostered relationships with TxDOT, Bexar County, and many other government organizations.  He also led the develop and implementation of infrastructure bond programs for San Antonio. During his 11 years with the City, Mike fostered relationships with private-sector consultants and contractors.  Mike also served as the Chief Operating Officer for the San Antonio Water System. He has proven his effectiveness in working with people of all work-walks of life including, but not limited to, workers, consultants, contractors, executives and elected officials at all levels.  For his efforts at the City of San Antonio, in 2017 Mike was honored with the TPWA Public Works Leader of the Year Award and in the 2018 APWA’s Top 10 Public Works Leaders of the Year.   Mike also serves on several boards including the ACE Mentor Program of San Antonio.
